These player are independent so this will be a group based training environment. There will be a coach for each group + 1 or 2 head coaches leading the entire session. Groups of 10-12 players.

Goalie (U10 +)

The Goalie session is fast action and skill development focused. This session will focus on the skills of goalie (diving, positioning, high balls, distribution etc). It will also focus on the mental strength of the keeper. The goalies will be incorporated in game situations with the first touch players and will face shots and game situations. All the while be instructed and encouraged from our professional coaching staff. Keepers will be sure to have an intense work out while facing a multitude of shots throughout the session.

Intro to Goalie (U8 +)

The program will start each session technical based, where the Coach will have the opportunity to really coach the goalkeepers on all aspects of the position (diving, positioning, high balls, distribution etc). Then players will be incorporated into the First Touch and Academy programs where the Coach will be able to assess if the keepers are able to incorporate the technical aspects that they learnt in first part into a game like situation. The second part will help all keepers refine their skills to become better goalkeepers within their various levels of play. This program is for U8 players and up.

First Touch & Finishing (U10 + Prospects, Development & Rep Players)

This program is designed but not limited to attacking midfielders and strikers in the U10 Prospects Program, U11/U12 Development Program and U13 and above Rep Teams.  All other players must seek advice from our Technical Director, Ajit Braich at headcoach@ndysc.com  before registering for the program.  Athletes looking to improve their first touch that will lead to a pass or cross and ultimately a shot on goal with the intended purpose of scoring should attend this program. This program is not suitable for all players as it is a very high intensity program.

Intro First Touch & Finishing (U8 +)

A unique program headed by Ajit Braich, Technical Director of North Delta Soccer Club targeted at players in a Club (House) Team. This program is designed to improve players first touch, providing greater opportunities for better passes/crosses depending on the position they are in. These players will then be able to take these skills into a game situation with goalies and see how they have adapted what the learned earlier in the session.  This program is for U8 players and up.
