Spring Soccer

Objective

Keep the kids interested in soccer by playing a game once a week and have a lot of fun doing it.  Practices are optional with Saturday games.

Parent requirement

Please volunteer for one of the positions below.   NDYSC is run by volunteer parents and we need your help to make this a success.

Job Descriptions

Coaches

Coaching responsibilities include, but are not limited to running weekly team practices and weekend games. Playing experience and knowledge of youth soccer is a bonus. Providing a positive and fun team atmosphere to encourage team sports and foster a love of the game

Asst. Coaches

Assist the coach with running weekly team practices and weekend games. Playing experience and knowledge of youth soccer is a bonus.
Assist the coach in providing a positive and fun team atmosphere to encourage team sports and foster a love of the game.

Uniform and Equipment distribution

Help make up uniforms (socks, shorts and shirts) to distribute to coaches from Mackie Club house
Help make up soccer bags (ball distribution) from Mackie Club house
Help distribute uniforms and balls from Mackie Club house to coaches.

Equipment returns

Manage returns of equipment to Mackie Club house – sign in procedures TBA

Mini Jam

Help set up the field.
Help take down the field
Help with pinny, ball and water distribution
Help organize the kids into groups of 8
Take role call
Help distribute paperwork to coaches and parents
Time keeper
Basic Q & A from Parents

Fundraising

50 / 50 ticket seller at the mini jam

Where and When

For Spring Soccer your child remains in the same age group as for winter soccer.  He/she moves up to the next age group in the fall.
